What is Solid Surface ?
Solid surface is a man-made material made out of alumina trihydrate (ATH), acrylic, epoxy, or polyester resins, as well as colours. It’s most commonly used for countertop instals that are completely seamless.
DuPont first introduced solid surface in 1967 under the name Corian. Other manufacturers have joined the market with their own branded products since their patent expired.
Applications
